Ingenico appoints Sérodon chief marketing officer; Malher chief financial officer

Boosted by the preliminary results and successes of the recovery plan it announced in September 2005, Ingenico has decided to bolster its management team by recruiting Didier Sérodon and Cyril Malher, as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Financial Officer, respectively.

Both new arrivals will also sit on the Executive Committee.

Didier Sérodon's main role will be to implement the Group's offensive marketing strategy, while that of Cyril Malher will be to continue to improve its profitability.

Didier Sérodon, 41, has an engineering qualification from the Arts et Métiers in Paris (1988) and a Master's degree in Marketing from ESC Grenoble. He has worked in various roles in the smart card industry, notably at Philips Smart Cards & Systems, De La Rue Card Systems and Oberthur Card Systems, where he held the position of Marketing Director. He was appointed CEO of Aspects Software in November 2004.

Cyril Malher, 42, is a graduate of the ESCEM in Tours. He worked as an auditor at Arthur Andersen for 9 years, then founded and ran a distribution business for 3 years before joining Oberthur Card Systems as Chief Financial Officer Europe in 1999. In 2000, he was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer.
