Complete Mortgage Loan Services (CMLS) today confirmed it is moving its portal (quotes and e-submission) services to the Exchange's Exweb broker solution. This follows the 6th July announcement that Professional Mortgage Partnerships Network also switched to The Exchange.

The Exchange's Exweb Broker solution will provide CMLS with a tailor-made, single trading platform to support all of their protection and mortgage-related insurance needs.

Complete Mortgage & Loans Services is one of the UK's leading distributors of residential mortgage and loan products, arranging and processing mortgage, general insurance and loan applications via its 30 strong intermediary team.

Damian Cain, director of CMLS, explains: "We have been conducting a substantial review of what was available in the market to improve services for our advisers, particularly with an eye on gaining improved functionality and resilience. The Exchange's proposition won out quite clearly, coming from a background where they really understood our business and were able to provide a solid, long-term solution with the security which only a financially robust technology supplier can offer. It's a win-win situation for us, our advisers and most importantly, our clients. We are thoroughly delighted."

Exweb broker is a tailored version of Exweb designed for brokers selling mortgages, life protection and general insurance operating under the FSA regulatory status. Exweb broker contains a range of mortgage services including mortgage sourcing and research, GI and credit checking tolls, making it the most comprehensive portal in the market. Complete Mortgage Loan Services was previously an Assureweb client.

David Child, managing director of The Exchange, comments: "We are delighted Complete Mortgage Loan Services have come on board and has chosen our service on its merits. This is the second major mortgage adviser group to make the move to our service in the past few months and is a great testament to the success of our new business team as well as the intrinsic portal strengths.

"We are also currently engaged in a training programme designed to ensure that advisers are fully conversant with the system and are therefore best placed to take advantage of the protection sales opportunities available."
