Pugh has substantial experience in developing and growing businesses, particularly in the IT sector. He is keen to utilise his experience in supporting the growth of MBA, particularly in the areas of sales and marketing. He will also be monitoring the general financial and technical performance of the company.

Previously Pugh was the chief executive and founder of Datel Ferranti Group (1981 – 2000), which provides systems solutions to the defence industry as well as the rail and airports sectors. He built the company from small beginnings to a £35 million turnover with more than 400 employees. More recently, he was the non-executive chairman of Windmill TV Productions (2000 – 2005), which produces television dramas and children’s programmes.
