SunGard names Jack Lazo regional sales manager, Fame Energy division

SunGard announced today that Jack Lazo has joined its FAME Energy business unit as regional sales manager for the Asia Pacific region.

Located in Singapore, Mr. Lazo is responsible for generating new business and expanding SunGard’s regional presence for its managed energy data solutions for financial institutions, energy producers and marketers.

Mr. Lazo has 20 years of experience serving energy and financial services firms, most recently as sales manager for a leading energy trading and risk provider. At SunGard, he will leverage his knowledge and experience in the energy trading industry to help extend FAME Energy solutions in the Asia Pacific region, such as EnergyScope 6.0, which was recently released with enhanced support for local languages. Twelve of the world's top 20 public listed energy companies use FAME Energy solutions.

FAME Energy offers quality-checked, fully managed data feeds to help energy traders to manage forward pricing curves, analysts to visualize market behavior, risk managers to obtain quality-checked market prices, and information managers to centralize, control and validate market data. Used by financial institutions, energy producers and marketers, FAME Energy solutions include EnergyScope, a Web-based, desktop charting and analysis solution used in energy trading, market analysis and risk management, and EnergyServer, an energy information system providing a managed framework to process, analyze and leverage energy information across the enterprise.
