Trintech Group Plc, a leading provider of transaction reconciliation and payment infrastructure solutions, today announced a partnership agreement with BWise, a leading provider of compliance and enterprise risk management software.

Under the terms of the agreement, BWise customers will have direct access to Trintech's general ledger reconciliation and certification solution, AssureNET GL. Likewise, Trintech customers will have direct access to BWise solutions for internal control, compliance, enterprise risk management, corporate and IT governance and process management.

BWise, recently named a Leader in the Forrester Wave Governance, Risk, and Compliance Platforms Q1 2006 product and platform evaluation, gives organizations the ability to increase corporate control by strengthening accountability; and financial, strategic and operational efficiencies for measurable business performance results.

The international corporate governance environment requires a growing number of companies to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley and other similar laws and/or regulations. The BWise-Trintech offering will enable organizations to leverage the joint benefits of market leading capabilities to simultaneously ensure compliance, reduce risk and streamline financial operations for improved quality and efficiencies. Within the joint solution, Trintech's AssureNET GL, a general ledger reconciliation and certification solution, will provide the necessary information to BWise's consolidated Compliance Dashboard to execute the proper controls as defined for the general ledger and reconciliation process.

Trintech's AssureNET GL is deployed in organizations to assign reconciliation and review responsibilities, define reconciliation schedules, assign reconciliation templates for individual accounts or groups of accounts, and identify and manage risks relating to the account reconciliation and certification process.

"BWise recognized the value of partnering with an organization that focuses on maximizing transaction processing efficiency, reducing risk and increasing compliance. Trintech's extensive reconciliation expertise as well as the breadth and depth of their client base impressed us greatly," said Robert Pijselman, CEO of BWise. "Together with Trintech, our joint approach will give companies the ability to reap significantly extended benefits in their compliance efforts."

"There are clear synergies between our two companies. Our product solutions and market focus are complementary," said John Harte, General Manager of Trintech's Funds Management Systems Division. "We view this as a long-term business partnership, and we look forward to extending our mutual client base."
