Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC), a leading global information technology (IT) services firm, and Sobaco Banking Solutions, a Switzerland-based, international provider of software solutions to private banks, announced today that they have entered into a global alliance.

Under the terms of the alliance, which will run for a minimum five-year period, CSC will provide project management and software integration and implementation services to Sobaco clients. With these services, Sobaco clients will be able to more easily use Sobaco's ebanking administration platform at any location globally. The alliance will also help Sobaco broaden its reach beyond its traditional Swiss client base.

"CSC's global presence and long-established reputation for providing a full range of IT services means that we can offer our clients, particularly those with offices outside Europe, experienced teams "on the ground", culminating in a highly credible, value-added service that we don’t believe is on offer from anyone else," said Luc Codina, managing director, Sobaco Software SA.

"We're delighted to work with Sobaco," said Steve Mitchener, CSC's president of Financial Services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. "With this agreement, we expand our retail and wholesale banking experience to include the international private banking sector. We look forward to delivering tangible business results to a market in which we are seeing huge growth."
