Solace Systems and Paritech team for low-latency market data delivery system

Solace Systems, the leader in value-added services (VAS) routing systems, today announced a partnership with Paritech PTY Ltd., a global developer and integrator of next-generation real-time platforms, to create an end-to-end market data solution.

The service will leverage Solace's VRS/32 Value-Added Services Routing System and Paritech's real-time platform, to quickly deliver and manage trading information from global financial exchanges to corporate, wholesale and retail investor market segments.

The volume of market data flowing through networks has increased exponentially, requiring professional traders, brokers, financial planners and research analysts to find innovative solutions to help sort, classify and act upon incoming information in real time. Solace and Paritech's partnership will create a product that utilizes intelligent routing within global service provider networks to deliver data, news and research from exchanges to Paritech-enabled workstations where decisions and trades can be made in real time.

"Financial services companies rely on expensive market data feeds that inundate their systems with information they may not need, taxing bandwidth and processing power," said Frank Guerrera, Solace's Chief Technology Officer, Financial Services. "Moving delivery and routing demands into a robust carrier-hosted application-aware solution is much more cost-effective for end-users and takes the processing pressure off local systems. It also creates a valuable revenue source for the provider."

In the ultra-competitive world of professional trading, network latency or delayed decision making can be the difference between making and losing millions of dollars. This market pressure can only mean that the demand for high-speed trading services will continue to grow. Delivery of these applications through the service provider network enables firms to concentrate on their core business, leaving technology management to the carrier.

"Working with Solace means we can provide the type of sophisticated platforms traders need to effectively do their job," said Rick Klink, Chief Executive Officer of Paritech. "Today's investment professionals require tools to help them to manage and understand shifting market environments. Combining our products enables us to present carriers with an end-to-end solution to better serve their customers."
