Quova, Inc., the authority on IP Intelligence and leading provider of Internet geolocation data and services, today announced a partnership with Stefanini IT Solutions, one of Brazil's leading IT consultants, to protect online banks in Latin America from fraud and account breaches.
Stefanini is now offering Quova's patented GeoPoint service to its online financial services clients in 11 nations to help them protect themselves and their customers from phishing, pharming and other online attacks.
"The incorporation of Quova's rich geolocation data into an online banking platform enables the institution to identify geographic user access and IP anomalies that are strong fraud predictors," said Ailtom Nascimiento, head of financial services for Stefanini. "We bring the integration and consulting resources to the table, and the combination of data and expertise will help deliver a powerful protective layer against fraud for online banking operations in Latin America and elsewhere."
"With fraud attacks intensifying, online financial services companies need safe and agile security solutions to guarantee greater protection for their customers and clients, without harming the user experience," said Gary Jackson, COO of Quova. "The integration of Quova's IP Intelligence will help Stefanini deliver those solutions to the principal financial institutions in countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Venezuela. We are pleased to be establishing such a strong presence in this rapidly-growing market."
