The International Organization for Standardisation (ISO) is a globally recognised body that develops and maintains standards across various industries. ISO 27001 is the international standard for information security management systems (ISMS), providing a framework for businesses to manage sensitive data securely. It sets stringent requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving information security management across an organisation.

Sikoia embarked on this certification journey in early 2024, focusing on strengthening its internal processes, conducting regular security audits, and embedding a culture of proactive risk management throughout the entire business. The certification process involved a thorough audit by a certified accreditation body, requiring Sikoia to demonstrate full compliance with ISO 27001 standards, including rigorous controls on data protection, privacy, and operational security.

Alexis Rog, founder and CEO of Sikoia, commented:

“Achieving ISO 27001 certification is a key confirmation of Sikoia unwavering commitment to excellence in information security. This certification is more than just a compliance achievement; it’s a reflection of our proactive approach to safeguarding the sensitive data of our partners and clients.

“By implementing rigorous security controls and continually improving our processes, we ensure that the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information are always prioritised.”
