Societe Generale makes global transaction and payment services appointments

Societe Generale is pleased to announce the appointment of Benoite Armand-Pieyre as Global Head of Payments and Cash Management and John Sacco as Head of Global Transaction Banking for the UK.

Benoite Armand-Pieyre will continue to develop the Bank’s Payments and Cash Management businesses for corporates and financial institutions, strengthening product offering and improving the client experience in coordination with all Global Transaction Banking activities. She draws on 20 years of experience supporting corporate clients, from SMEs to large companies, in both investment banking and retail banking.

Based in Paris, Benoite Armand-Pieyre will report directly to David Abitbol, Head of Global Transaction and Payment Services at Societe Generale.

John Sacco will use his extensive sales and business development experience to help drive the growth of Societe Generale’s Global Transaction Banking franchise in the UK.

In his new role, John will report locally to Thierry d’Argent, CEO of Societe Generale London Branch and functionally to Andreea Parneci, Deputy Head of Global Transaction & Payment Services, and will join the Societe Generale London Branch Executive Committee.
