Orbian, a leading provider of supply chain finance solutions, has selected SimCorp's IT2 to manage its treasury activities.

Orbian, who provides cost effective working capital by offering 100% of receivables value for immediate discounting at extremely low rates, will use IT2 for funding and investment management, risk management, cash and liquidity management as well as treasury accounting.

SimCorp's IT2 will help Orbian to efficiently assess and meet funding requirements through capital markets. IT2 will also help treasury add value by optimizing its funding and liquidity management and manage financial risk within defined limits.

Following evaluation of possible treasury solutions, Orbian found the IT2 functionality provided a single solution for their treasury management needs, replacing a variety of separate tools and applications they have been using. "Orbian liked the fact that IT2 provided best practices treasury processes and management reporting," said Andrew Notman, Treasurer at Orbian. He added, "In addition to meeting all of our treasury processing and reporting requirements IT2 process management tools make it very efficient for us to meet the increasing demands for documentation from Sarbanes-Oxley."
