INDATA®, a leading industry provider of software solutions for buyside firms including trade order management (OMS), compliance, portfolio accounting and front-to-back office today announced the release of its high-availability Disaster Recovery (DR) solution for I.M.S. clients at the New York SIA Technology Management Conference & Exhibit.

INDATA's high-availability DR solution provides I.M.S. clients with a true, turnkey solution that covers all aspects of the disaster recovery process including back-up server hosting, real-time data back-up and remote I.M.S. system access immediately available via the Internet in the event of a failure.

Due to the current regulatory and compliance environment, disaster recovery and business continuity planning are crucial components to firm operations. Investment managers need significant resources to maintain and support ongoing disaster recovery plans. This presents a challenge to many firms due to the complexity of the DR process and the cost of maintaining backup environments, which often are not integrated.

"INDATA's Disaster Recovery product is a true turn-key solution that integrates all of the core elements of the DR process including backup server hosting, data backup, and remote system access," commented David Csiki, Managing Director of INDATA. "In addition, INDATA offers a true high-availability solution where, in the event of a failure, our clients can be up and running immediately and utilize all aspects of their I.M.S. system including live pricing and electronic trading (FIX)," he added.
