US-based FNX Limited (FNX) has established a global quality centre in Serbia to provide testing and quality assurance for its Sierra and First Order trading and risk management products.
Located in Belgrade, the centre is managed by FNX's Nemanja Petrovic and staffed by a group of developers and testers.
During his six years at the firm, Petrovic has been a senior application analyst in the customer relations team and an application consultant in the systems integration group.
Radford Laney, executive director, testing and application delivery, FNX, says the centre is the latest step in ongoing efforts to ensure that software provided to customers is of the highest quality: "This in turn reduces the amount of IT and testing resources clients need to install and maintain the Sierra system. The overall benefit to our customers is a lower total cost to upgrade."
