TransactTools upgrades STP financial messaging platform

New York's TransactTools has released version 3.1 of its Intelligent Connectivity Platform, an end-to-end FIX-based financial messaging solution.

The platform's multi-protocol FIX engine, ttConnect, now includes data dictionary support for CMS and Ouch along with additional integration interfaces including C++, ActiveX Controls and Raw Socket Transport (RST) for improved user flexibility. Pluggable Protocol support has also been added for Tibco, JMS and MQ Series.

In addition, FIX certification and testing application ttCert now provides users with several automated ways to generate scenarios for both certification and regression testing, while ttAlert - an exception monitoring and notification system - now has added support for networked agent clusters, multiple user groups and customisable application views.

Sam Johnson, founder and CEO of TransactTools, says each new feature is the result of direct customer feedback.

"This release is about making the individual components work even better together, and making the platform as a whole interface more easily with a firm's existing systems," he says.

TransactTools clients include Archipelago, Bloomberg, JP Morgan Chase, Instinet, WestLB Panmure and Thomson Financial.
