The UK’s Abbey National has implemented Denver-based Proxima Technology's Centauri Business Service Manager (Centauri) to increase operational efficiency and improve IT service levels.
Centauri will enable Abbey National to utilise systems management tools embedded within third party applications and replace proprietary management products.
The product uses data retrieved from these various management tools to analyse and report on service quality, helping the bank to maintain service levels.
Jon Ratcliffe, head of enterprise support, Abbey National, says: "Centauri provides Abbey National with a cost-effective way of bringing these different management tools under a single umbrella, this way we can manage the service of these applications collectively rather than separate, discrete components."
Quality shortfalls are highlighted by Centauri, which then uses Six Sigma quality management processes to make necessary improvements. Service information is distributed using Centauri's real-time digital dashboards.
