Bank-Verlag, a service provider subsidiary of the Association of German Banks, is to use Systinet's Wasp Server for Java product for its iRecherche system, used for the automatic handling of investigations for payment transactions.
Bank-Verlag says it will use Systinet's Web services technology as part of a query system to help identify unsuccessful Web services-based wire transfers and their causes.
The iRecherche platform automates the handling of investigations requests for lost, misplaced or unresolved payment transactions, such as cheques. The system acts as a central database, allowing participating banks can view incoming and manage outgoing requests.
Bank-Verlag's iRecherche platform is implemented as a J2EE application, while Wasp has been installed to provide a seamless interface for Web services requests.
"While browser-based access to the system is very important to our customer base, an increasing number of our customers have their own internal systems for archiving and searching for documents," explains Silke Kuehnert, project manager for iRecherche. "With Systinet Wasp and support from their local solution partner, innoQ, we were able to quickly implement a high-performance, standards-compliant access method for integrating our services with existing custom and standard software systems."
