The service, called FIX-Complete, offers customers a methodology for implementing the FIX protocol and covers the use of the front office messaging standard for all phases of the trade lifecycle including pre and post-trade messages such as allocations.

Robert Stowsky, Brook Path Partners' president and CEO, says the service is designed to address the 'bumps in the road' that firms encounter when first implementing the specification.

"Even firms with FIX experience for trading equities do not fully comprehend the business and technology impacts of using FIX for trading fixed income and derivatives," says Stowsky.

FIX-Complete includes consultancy services that address internal infrastructure and external connectivity issues and includes systems testing and end user training.
