Georgia-based Flag Financial Corporation has signed a five-year agreement for London Bridge Group's multi-channel core banking solution, Phoenix System.
Flag Financial will run the Phoenix System in an outsourced environment from London Bridge Group's data centre in Atlanta.
Dan Speight, vice chairman and chief financial officer, Flag Financial, says: "The relational database architecture of the Phoenix System will present us with expanded opportunities to provide excellent service to our customers."
He adds that outsourcing core IT operations is the ideal choice as it allows the firm to continue to provide services without being preoccupied with the day-to-day management of the system.
