ACI Worldwide is teaming with Sun Microsystems to develop and market Java-based e-payment solutions for the global financial services industry.
ACI, which is a member of Sun's iForce partner programme, says it is working with the vendor to deliver low risk payment products.
Mark Vipond, president of ACI, says, "By being proactive in product planning and testing, we can optimise our products for Sun's platform to meet the rigorous demands of our customers."
Vipond adds that both sales organisations are working together in an effort to make ACI software available to more Solaris users.
Sun says ACI's applications combined with its One platform, will provide financial service providers with a reliable and scalable solution.
