Man Capital Foreign Exchange has implemented PFS TraderTools' order management system, OrderTrac, at its offices in London and New York.
New York-based vendor PFS says OrderTrac will provide Man with a single platform for its order managment activity, allowing the firm to support a wider range of FX and metals orders, including those developed for the FX derivative market.
OrderTrac delivers order management through data base replication while 'passing the book'. The system also reduces risk by delivering real-time pricing and data across all open orders, positions and exposures, says the vendor. Data is published by PFS' DS2000 technology, allowing for consolidated reporting and risk management across Man's global network.
Frank Lentini, Man's senior vice president and deputy global manager of FX, says OrderTrac will help the firm introduce new products in the future.
"The PFS solution also positioned us for future integration which will put all of our FX products on the same platform for order execution and risk management," Lentini adds.
OrderTrac is a component of the FX trading platform TradeTrac, which was developed jointly by PFS and Financial Software Systems.
