Cal, the largest credit company issuing Visa cards in Israel, has used technology from Cyota to introuce Verified by Visa authentication services for cardholders when transacting online.
Cal, which provides services to 13 banks representing approximately 1.2 million cardholders, has implemented Cyota's hosted VbV service, providing enrolled consumers with a password and an online receipt when dealing with compliant merchants. The service is up and running and available immediately.
Ofer Chen, planning and development manager at Cal, comments: "Verified by Visa is growing rapidly in Europe and is a must for every issuer in the market today."
