DZ Bank selects SunGard's Mint for SwiftNet FIN migration

DZ Bank will use SunGard's SwiftNet FIN and FileAct platform to manage its move from Swift's X.25 network and to support new FIN services on SwiftNet. The system will be used to process all the bank's messaging traffic, which averages between 30,000 and 50,000 Swift messages per day.

Michael Steinbach, director, head of payments division, DZ Bank, says the Mint solution was chosen because it provides a consolidated approach to all existing and future SwiftNet application services, as part of an integrated platform.

SunGard says the consolidated approach extends the SwiftNet single window paradigm into the internal operations environment, providing a single view of network operations.
