The global funds services division of the Bank of Bermuda has launched a front office trade and portfolio management platform, GFS Trade, using technology from London-based Beauchamp Financial Technology.

Based on Beauchamp's FundManager software, GFS Trade provides order processing, multiple prime broker connectivity and flexible report writing.

Drew Douglas, head of product development, GFS, says: "Trading (orders and executions), position, and profit and loss (P&L) data update in near real time, displaying immediate price changes in the portfolio and reflecting trading activity as it occurs."

Front office features include configurable reporting with 'drag and drop' functionality and flexible data categorisation with 'slice and dice' operations.

The platform also links to the division's fund administration system.
