SwiftConnect will allow firms to consolidate control and management of Swift network interfaces without disrupting existing applications says the vendor.

In addition, the product improves transaction visibility across multiple systems, centrally manages message mapping and transformations and provides real-time exception management.

Vitria says during the recent migration of ISO 7775 to ISO 15022 messaging, many firms relied on quick-fix solutions by creating point-to-point mappings for every message type, which will have to be repeated with each subsequent Swift modification.

John Parker, vice president of financial services, Vitria, says: "SwiftComplete extends the solution beyond simple message transformations, enabling business managers to drill down on errors in real-time and correct and reinsert them into the business process without taking the message offline."
