Prudential says it is deploying the IntruShield suite of security solutions to protect its corporate network which connects its regional and branch offices worldwide.

The products are designed to improve the detection of intrusions and to prevent attacks. IntruVert says its IntruShield 4000 and IntruShield 2600 applications provide intrusion prevention and detection capabilities that are quick enough to keep up with the speed of the network.

Ken Tyminski, vice president and chief information security officer, Prudential Financial, adds: "With malicious attacks on the rise, companies are requiring technologies that can accurately detect and prevent attacks in real-time."
