Spanish depository Grupo Mercados Financieros has entered an agreement to use the ISO 15022 standards and interbank Swift network for its new central counterparty clearing service for fixed income repo transactions.
Both companies say they will study other ways of cooperating, including the possible use of Swift's FIX Hub to open access to Swift-connected institutions for trading Spanish futures and options.
