Irish FX software developer Cognotec has appointed Kevin Galliers as vice president in charge of all global sales activity.
A key aspect of Galliers brief at Cognotec will be the promotion of the new component based, foreign exchange trading platform Cognotec AutoDeal+, which is already live at three banks.
Galliers joins Cognotec from Iris Financial Engineering & Systems Inc where he was similarly responsible for worldwide sales, marketing and distribution. Prior to this, he was a regional managing director for SunGard Trading and Risk Systems.
