Churchill Insurance Group (Churchill) is to implement CGI's Global Insurance Open Solution (GIOS) across its UK and Republic of Ireland call centres.
CGI says its Web-enabled GIOS product is designed specifically for the insurance industry. The system will automate processes and manage multiple distribution channels, including B2B and B2C.
Charles Crawford, executive director, Churchill, comments: "GIOS will enable us to improve productivity and reduce costs by integrating and simplifying Churchill's administrative processes."
As well as installing the system, CGI will also provide Churchill with consultancy services and staff training.
Churchill's home claims division will be the first to deploy the system, with implementation covering all other lines of business planned for completion by 2005.
