Canada-based Synergy Asset Management (Synergy) has licensed Cor Risk Solutions' portfolio analytic software Bita Research and Bita Risk Modeller.
The software will enable Synergy, which provides 'style-based' mutual funds, to construct a set of factor risk models according to specifications, create historic factors from fundamental data, undertake fractile-based backtesting and produce optimised portfolios.
Mike Mahoney, portfolio manager, Synergy comments: "Bita Research's powerful analytic, modelling and optimisation capabilities will support our factor-based investment strategy development, helping us to successfully identify the strategies to be implemented."
The deal is the first win for Cor Risk Solutions in Canada.
