League Data, a provider of banking solutions to Canadian credit unions, has added HyperWallet System's person-to-person money transfer software to its online banking site MemberDirect.
League Data says the new service will allow credit union members in the Atlantic Canada region to transfer funds from online accounts directly into a linked hyperWallet in real time.
The service offers e-mail money transfers, foreign exchange, auction payments, small business invoicing, mass remittance, web cheque payments and personal funds transfers to any account in North America.
Paul Mackley, manager services and solutions, League Data, comments: "Arranging wire transfers to friends and relatives across the country used to require an in-branch visit - now our members save time and money by performing the transaction easily online instead."
