Laurentian Bank of Canada is to outsource its credit card processing business to First Data Corp.
Working to a five-year contract, the agreement also calls for First Data to provide other card portfolio management tools to the bank, including risk management, marketing, collections and customer service systems.
The bank's credit card processing portfolio was previously processed in-house.
