CreditTrade, a provider of transaction services to the credit markets, is to launch a Web-based data service, CreditTrade Insight.
CreditTrade says the service, which will be beta tested during November and formally launched early in 2003, will provide Web access to a broad range of credit data with over 500,000 CDS price points, dating back to January 1997.
The company adds that over 1,500 CDS market quotes, trades and benchmark prices are added to the service each day, as well as a package of analytical data including approximately 60 indices and new information such as CDS mid-prices, volatility, liquidity and performance information.
Krishna Biltoo, head of product development and data sales, CreditTrade, adds: "The service also provides clients with new analytical tools and datasets which help make the markets more transparent and easier to interpret."
The announcement follows the closure of the company's third round investment funding, which raised $8 million. CreditTrade has also recently announced data agreements with RiskMetrics Group, Reech Capital and Totem Market Valuations.
