Belgium-based KBC Bank & Insurance Group has selected S1's Corporate Banking solution to power its commercial services across Europe.
As part of a multi-million dollar deal S1 will provide the bank with a hosted service.
The multi-lingual and multi-currency banking software will standardise all corporate elcetronic banking operations across the KBC group and deliver traditional online cash management and high and low value payment transactions.
S1's enterprise platform will also enable the bank to roll out services to corporate customers across multiple interaction channels.
Erik Luts, general manager, ICT distribution channels, KBC Bank, says: "The ability for KBC to upgrade to the J2EE S1 Enterprise Platform was an important consideration in our selection of the S1 corporate banking solution."
KBC says it will initially implement the software at its Belgium, UK, Netherlands and Hungary operations.
