New York-based wealth management firm Bessemer Trust has licensed LineData Service's LongView Trading System for its portfolio management, trading and compliance groups across the firm.
The system will be deployed to over 200 users and enable portfolio managers located in Bessemer's thirteen regional offices to send orders electronically to a centralised trading desk in New York.
Bessmer says it spent over six months formally reviewing all of the major vendors in the trade order management marketplace before deciding to go with Linedata.
"The LongView Trading System provided in one system the core functionality we needed to support both our diverse portfolio management needs as well as providing our traders with a state-of-the-art electronic trading blotter," adds Frank Mariani, principal, investment department, Bessemer.
