Irish Web services company Vordel has joined forces with HP, Intel and Microsoft to launch the Secure Partner Integration Solution for the financial services industry.
The solution is based on open standards to help large financial services institutions integrate their systems with their partners securely using web services technology. It combines enterprise hardware from Intel and HP with Microsoft's .NET platform and Vordel's web services security product VordelSecure.
Deborah Conrad, director of solutions market development, Intel, says the combination of world-class software and the Intel Itanium2 should help to address the concerns companies have about processing high volumes of transactions in a Web services environment.
