UK stockbroker Williams de Broe has implemented the ASP version of ePal, a front-to-back investment, accounting and reporting service for managers of private clients, from Sungard Investment Management Systems.
The browser-based system, designed as an alternative to the current GUI front-end, runs alongside the existing Windows interface and offers users easier access to ePal.
The stockbroker has also licensed Sungard's Portfolio Internet Managed Service (PIMS), a password protected system for publishing clients' data directly to the Web.
Richard Charnock, director, private client division, Williams de Broë, says: "We believe that regular reporting of client valuation summaries by direct Web access is a vital component of a credible, contemporary, performance-orientated wealth management service."
