Pluschkell, who fills a new position at HyperFeed, joined the company in August as executive vice president of strategic business development. He has previously worked at Reuters PLC, Global Crossing and MXNet. His appointment came as the company secured a $305,000 cash infusion from the exercise of warrants by principle shareholder Pico Holdings.

With the cash in the bank, Hyperfeed has shunted two long-serving staff upstairs, and brought in a raft of newcomers to front line positions as it seeks to deploy its tickerplant technology at major financial institutions.

As part of the reshuffle, Michael Kreutzjans, who has been with the company since its inception in 1983, has been moved to the newly-created post of executive vice president, technology business development; and Kristen Mologousis, previously senior vice president of sales, marketing and customer service, is now senior vice president, strategic business development - another new position.

New arrivals include Randall Frapart from Cyvent Technologies as chief financial officer, Frank Guerrera as chief technology officer and Thomas Wojciechowski as senior vice president of sales.

Guerrera joins HyperFeed from State Street Bank where he was managing director of global markets and securities finance global technology. Wojciechowski brings 18 years of experience in financial technology, including stints at Exodus/Global Center, MoneyLine Network and Reuters.
