Natexis Banques Populaires has contracted with Reuters for a project to integrate its disparate applications and databases enterprise-wide into a single network using the Tibco ActiveEnterprise middleware suite.
Under the agreement, the bank will deploy the solution across its business lines, starting with a project to manage trading operations in the investment banking business.
François Becam, IT architecture director at the bank says: "The return on our investment will be greater efficiency in the trading process and the flexibility to enhance and extend the services offered to our customers."
