Princeton Financial and Charles River offer front to back interface

Princeton Financial Systems has introduced a bi-directional interface to be used with its portfolio management and accounting system PAM and the Charles River Trading System (CRTS).

The new interface provides a comprehensive front-, middle- and back-office solution for institutional investment organisations, say the two vendors. The interface also coordinates communication and processing of security master files (SMF), account, holdings and trade information between PAM and CRTS.

Scott Ferrante, chief operating officer at Princeton Financial says: "By interfacing with the Charles River Trading System, we offer our clients seamless connectivity to increase the accuracy and efficiency of their investment processes."

CRTS automates the investment management process by providing portfolio managers, traders, compliance and operations personnel with portfolio management, order management and straight-through-processing (STP) capabilities.

Tom Driscoll, vice president of sales and marketing at Charles River says the demand for a comprehensive front-to-back global investment management solution is growing dramatically. He adds: "The integration of PAM and the Charles River Trading System provides clients with a solid, low-risk, best-of-breed approach."
