Lloyds TSB has entered into a three-year renewal contract with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young for the development and support of core management information and retail sales systems.
Systems covered by the deal provide support for nationwide sales of all Lloyds TSB retail products including mortgages, loans, pensions, savings and insurance products and ISAs. They produce management information and reporting details that enable the bank to measure the performance of the sales force.
Both the development and the support activities for the Lloyds TSB systems, which run on mainframe and NT platforms, will continue to be provided from a Cap Gemini Ernst & Young applications management centre in Glasgow.
The new contract, which has a strong focus on systems development, is the third renewal of arrangements that started in 1993.
