Streaming market data vendor Caplin Systems has moved to new premises at Union Square in Manhattan as it moves to get closer to customers and accommodate new staff.
The move from 80 Broad Street to 111 Fifth Avenue quintuples the firm's square footage.
"We will utilise the increased space to accommodate a 50 percent growth in staff by year end, which is needed to support our growing client and prospect base," said Nigel Glen, CEO, Caplin Systems, Inc.
Caplin currently houses six employees at its New York office in sales and technical support capacities, with a total of 51 employees worldwide. Clients include NYSE, Nasdaq, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, UBS Warburg, JP Morgan Chase, Dow Jones Newswires and S&P ComStock.
