RBC Royal Bank and the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CBYF) have launched a new online training programme aimed at young entrepreneurs starting their first business.
Kickstartyourbiz.com is designed for would-be entrepreneurs ages 18-to-34 who want help starting and running a business, but who may not have geographical access or the time to attend training programmes.
Betty Wood, national manager, strategic markets, RBC, says: "Kickstartyourbiz.com fills a much needed void by providing easily accessible training to a group of people who already gravitate to the Internet and partnering with CYFB to provide this service was a natural fit."
The programme offers comprehensive training at five levels starting from the earliest stage of just having an idea, all the way up to the management of small-business growth. Kickstartyourbiz.com also features an 'e-trainer' that answers questions and concerns about the programme as well as other issues related to entrepreneurship. Discussion forums, that allow members to network with other like-minded individuals from across Canada while picking and choosing the most appropriate areas of training, are also featured.
The programme is priced from $19.99 for the first two modules to $119.99 for all nine modules and an e-trainer.
