Dublin-based information security consultancy Sysnet has won a contract with Anglo Irish Bank to develop an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and formulate an organisation-wide security policy.
The new policy document will address internal and external security requirements at the bank, says Tom Moynagh, Sysnet managing director. The contract also calls for the policy to be assessed and reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Mike Campbell, head of IT, Anglo Irish Bank, says: "Where previously we had a set of disparate procedures covering various aspects of security, our new company-wide policy formalises and strengthens all procedures."
