BPHPBK, Poland's third largest bank, has selected Nomad Software's Cortex product to control its core retail payments infrastructure.
Under the agreement, Nomad will be the sole provider of the bank's electronic payment systems.
Cortex will be installed to allow the bank to issue cards, authorise and switch a range of transactions and drive terminals in a secure environment, says the company. The product will also support the bank's growth within the online financial services market.
Alexander Picker, a board member of BPHPBK, says the bank chose Nomad's Cortex solution following a detailed evaluation of the alternatives by third party consultants. "Nomad's software has the technical capability to ensure sustained business growth for the bank and the company has shown itself able to meet tight deadlines effectively and professionally," he says.
