Thomson Financial has appointed Multex.com co-founder, James Tousignant to the newly created position of managing director, global strategic accounts.
In his new role, Tousignant will be responsible for managing and developing Thomson Financial's top client accounts and overseeing the US, European and Asian global account management (GAM) teams. He will report directly to Thomson Financial's chief operating officer, Sharon Rowlands.
Tousignant joins Thomson Financial from Morgan Stanley where he was managing director, business development and e-commerce. Prior to this, he co-founded Multex.com, serving as its president from 1993-2000.
