Thomson Financial has appointed former Enron IT head Nigel Denty as UK director of technical operations.
In his new role, Denty will be responsible for the London technical operations centre. He will join Thomson Financial's global executive council, reporting to Jim Malkin, managing director of Thomson Financial Europe and Dennis Fuze, global vice president of technical operations.
Denty joins Thomson Financial from Enron Europe, where he served as head of IT operations for over three years. He has also worked for Hill-Samuel, ING-Barings and Goldman Sachs.
