SouthTrust migrates from Edify to Corillian ASP

SouthTrust Corporation, a $48.8 billion regional bank holding company located in Birmingham, Alabama, has licensed the Corillian Voyager Internet banking platform under an ASP deal negotiated with NCR Corporation.

NCR's worldwide customer services division, which signed a strategic alliance partnership with Corillian last year, will convert SouthTrust from the Edify platform to Voyager within NCR's managed service centre.

Andy Hernandez, director of e-commerce at SouthTrust Bank, says: "Internally, we wanted a new e-finance solution that provides the scalability and ongoing support necessary for our growing online customer base. Corillian Voyager met those needs, and their relationship with NCR was a key factor in our decision because we have been a long-time partner with NCR."

Through Corillian Voyager, SouthTrust customers will have real-time online access to their financial accounts to check balances & transactions, transfer funds and see cheque images online.
