EasyScreen will be able to offer connectivity from the initial launch date of the IPE's major contracts - Brent Crude and Gas Oil futures - planned for autumn 2002.

Kevin Alldritt, head of third party solutions at the IPE, comments: "Independent Software Vendors such as EasyScreen are vitally important for the success of our transition to electronic trading."

Phillip Docker, chairman of EasyScreen, adds: "We see the IPE as important for a number of reasons, not least because this is the first experience of the conversion of a purely non-financial exchange. Our existing customers and current IPE traders will all benefit."
