S1 Corporation has appointed William James as general manager of the company's Europe, Middle East and Africa (Emea) operations.
James is charged with spearheading company growth in the Emea region, which, according to CEO Jaime Ellertson is a key factor in S1's global market strategy.
Most recently, James was managing director and corporate vice president of BMC UK. He has also held management positions with Informix Asia Pacific, Apple Computer, Data General and International Computers Ltd.
