Credit Suisse First Boston has deployed technology from AppStream to simplify the management of its Web-based electronic trading platform, PrimeTrade.
PrimeTrade, accessed by 3000 customers around the world and 481 internal traders, provides direct access to the world's exchanges for a range of listed and OTC products, foreign exchange and bonds.
By automatically managing updates, the AppStream software reduces application launch times and minimises the costs associated with application distribution and version updates, says the company.

The AppStream technology automatically segments applications into executable components and delivers them in the optimal order based on user behavior. By delivering applications on-demand and executing them on the client, AppStream aims to reduce network congestion and IT overhead.
